Turkey is a country that is famous for it's history and wonderful sunny beaches. What to do in Turkey? Mostly people come for history, sunbathing or skiing ( in winter). As winter finished i will tell you more about historical and 'lazy' tourism.

If you come to Turkey for the first time it is a must to visit historical places of Turkey. When you book a tour to see historical sites, you have to choose the following cities and regions: Ankara, Istanbul and Izmir. Ankara is famous for it's An1tkabir, Istanbul is famous for it's Sultan Ahmet area and Blue mosque, Izmir is famous for Ephesus, great place, that is considered to be one of the worlds wonders- Capadoccia.

If you are looking for a lazy sunbathing by the sea, it is the best to take your ticket to Antalya or Marmaris. Antalya is the biggest holiday resort of Turkey. One very important thing to mention: Center of Antalya is better for shopping than for sunbathing. But in its small villages like Alanya, Side, Kemer there so many hotels that even do not know which one to choose for your holiday.

How to book best hotel in Turkey? Turkey is a country were star system is valid but unfortunately not every hotel worth it's stars! Be careful when choosing a hotel! Fist of all, check holiday reviews on forums. Its a great opportunity to find out how good the hotel was hotel during last season, especially reviews with pictures will be helpful! Do not forget that pictures of a new hotel that was built 5 years ago may look perfect but now this hotel may change and mostly in a bad way. The same about small hotels. Small hotels can be rebuilt and have much better view than before!
